MUA lipstick review.
Hello blogggerrrrsss! thought i'd do a review today on the MUA lipsticks. This brand has rocketed loads recently among the beauty bloggers, so i thought what a good time to do this review. I have two of the lipsticks.
The lipsticks aren't given names, but are given shades, so i have shade 13 and 3!
What can i say about these lipsticks?
i'll start with the packaging. As you can see from the pictures above both lipsticks have black packaging with silver writing and a cap at the top of the lipstick including the actual lipstick. ( i found this out when it popped off in my bag!) . The packaging is decent, nothing special, doesn't attract me a lot but is good, and does it's job!
The actual product is good, the colours are highly pigmented and have a matt (ish) finish. If you look closely at each lipstick they do have tiny flecks of gold and/or silver.
I'm going to weigh up the pros and cons for you in bullet points. (it's easier and faster to read that way. teehee.)
pros;
They are cheap! £1 each, a big difference compared with mac for £13.50ish.
Although mac do have better lipsticks, this live up to them quite well.
They are easy to find, at superdrug or online.
They are highly pigmented.
They come in a range of colours.
cons;
they do bleed around the lips, but this can be stopped by using a lipliner.
they do stain the lips and need to be reapplied often.
Would i re- purchase them? Yep, why not!
So on the cameleon scale i would give them 4/5.
I hope this blog has helped!
